We Are Building the Future of Tennis.
MADDAN Corp. is a Delaware C-Corporation and the parent holding company of the MADD ecosystem. MADD — Maximum Adaptive Durable Design — reflects both the founder's name and the first-principles thinking behind the invention.

Our Mission
Solving a 150-Year Design Failure.
More than 330 million tennis balls are produced each year, and about 95% end up in landfills where they persist for over 400 years. Pressurized balls lose pressure and felt degrades quickly, forcing players to replace cans every 9–18 games. Clubs and facilities spend $10,000–$50,000 a year on replacement balls alone.
The founding team identified this 150-year design flaw, engineered a molecular fix using reversible Diels-Alder chemistry, filed three interlocking patents, and built a dual-track go-to-market strategy — before raising a dollar. That is the execution velocity behind this company.

The Insight
Founder identifies the 150-year design flaw in tennis ball construction — pressurized rubber core + degrading felt = guaranteed failure. The question becomes: can molecular chemistry fix it?
The Science
Diels-Alder reversible chemistry validated as the mechanism for self-healing. Nano-silica and graphene oxide felt cover formulated. The platform that would become Patents #1 and #2 takes shape.
Three Patents Filed
Provisional Patents #1 (Self-Healing Core), #2 (Nano-Felt Cover), and #3 (Strings & Frames) filed simultaneously. Interlocking IP creates a full-ecosystem moat.
MADDAN Corp. Formed
Delaware C-Corporation incorporated as the parent holding company. MaddBall, MaddStrings, and MaddLife established as sub-brands. $5M seed round launched at $12M–$15M pre-money.
The Portfolio
Three Brands.
One Mission.
MaddBall
The world's first self-healing tennis ball. Diels-Alder reversible chemistry + nano-felt cover. One ball replaces 10–20 conventional balls. 3 interlocking patents.
Explore MaddBallMaddStrings
The same self-healing and nano-composite platform extended to racket strings and frames. 2–3× longer string life. Less notching. Protected by Patent #3.
Explore MaddStringsMaddLife
Sustainable tennis apparel and accessories. The MADD ecosystem extended to everything you wear and carry on court — built for multiple lifecycles, not single use.

The Principles
Behind the Science.
01
First-Principles Thinking
We don't iterate on existing designs. We identified a 150-year design flaw and engineered a molecular fix. Every product begins with the question: what does the science actually require?
02
Mission-Driven
Make tennis truly sustainable. We hire people who care about sustainability and sport. We celebrate environmental impact milestones. We align compensation with sustainability goals.
03
Radical Transparency
We publish our performance data. Every claim is backed by independent testing. The forward-looking statements in our business plan are clearly labeled as such — we don't confuse targets with proven results.
04
Execution Velocity
Three patents filed. Dual-track GTM built. Seed round launched. All before raising a dollar. Speed and quality are not in conflict — they are both requirements.
The Science
Molecular Chemistry
Meets the Court.
Diels-Alder reversible covalent bonds form and re-form under heat and pressure — the exact conditions of a tennis ball in play. This is not a coating. It is a structural repair mechanism built into the material itself.
Nano-silica and graphene oxide reinforce the felt cover at the fiber level — reducing abrasion, extending felt life, and cutting the friction that degrades strings.

Who Play.
Our team spans materials science, polymer chemistry, sports physiology, and competitive tennis. We don't just build for athletes — most of us are athletes.
That dual perspective — lab bench and baseline — is what makes MADDAN products different. We feel the problems we solve.
